Changed to iOS 7 but still auto updated

The dev changed the app to iOS 7 only (yes, its totally broken on iOS 6), yet it still auto updated my iOS 6 device. As one of my most used apps, this seriously pisses me off. I hope the loss of backwards compatibility is worthwhile to some user, somewhere.
