KyPass 3 - Keepass in sync App Reviews

Cannot update kdbx list. Have tons of old kdbx copies instead.

It looks like the Dropbox integration wasnt updated- when you try to turn the sync feature on, it switches you to the DropBox app correctly, but when youre done, it reopens the old KyPass app. When you go back to KyPass 3, DropBox sync is off again.

I bought this app as an alternative to the free MiniKeePass, exclusively for its WebDAV support - to access my KeePass database on a remote backup server. But after entering WebDAV credentials, there doesnt appear to be nowhere that allows you to connect & browse the remote server. I attempted to contact the developer for assistance, but after a frustrating experience of scouring their entire website for a contact e-mail(doesnt seem to be listed), I resorted to the only option I could find: public contact via Twitter. Still no assistance. I would normally give them at least a couple weeks to address an issue, but it should NEVER be this difficult to reach out to a developer; contact information should not be hidden or nonexistent. How do we reach you to discuss problems with this app??

Crash fixed, TouchID is a great addition, thanks for implementing it!! (Note that this update forgets which folder your Dropbox files are in if youre not using the default location)

TouchID integration for the win.

Loved the app and was thrilled to see Touch ID update...however Dropbox sync is broken. Now I have rogue entries only on iPhone, others only on iPad and neither of those showing on the pc. Please fix Dropbox sync.

Love it, use it multiple times a day. The fingerprint scan was an awesome addition.

Use all the time. I have the main file on Dropbox so keepassx/kypass is up to date on all of my work stations and devices.

The app works great. I installed and was able to flawlessly sync between computer, iPhone and iPad. My only concern is the apps permissions. The app requires a separate folder in Dropbox to save your password file in, called "Crypted," which seems great because I would assume, then, that the app only needs read/write privileges to that specific folder. But when I look at Dropboxs website, in the security section, it says the app has read/write access to my entire Dropbox folder. This seems ironic, considering it is a security app. But unless this can be changed, I am uninstalling. To be fair, though, if this does not concern you, the app works great and is worth the money.

Kypass 3 does not unload the last screen from memory. Regardless of the feature settings or how much time has passed, a malicious user can click on the app and briefly see the last entry that was left on the screen before the app kicks the user out. Please fix is.

I had version 1 of this app and it worked great for yeArs. Then one day it stopped working and I thought, "Hey maybe I need to upgrade for it to work again." Wrong! The new version has never worked. I have submitted support requests twice and only received confirmations in return. Its been 6 months. Never tried to get a refund for an app… theres a first time for everything.

This gets better and better. Can we get support for the OneDrive app?

It was so easy to setup to sync to Dropbox. Keep up the great work!

I know the same happens for at least one other user. Been waiting for an update but kypass has not been updated in awhile.

Always been a great tool. Addition of Touch ID and multitasking are fantastic improvements.

Not very good. There are better cheaper apps for keepass. Overpriced.

I store my key pass database and iCloud. This is another update where I am unable to access my key pass database that is stored on my iCloud account using my iPhone. This is a great app. However, if I am unable to use it, it doesnt do me much good now does it?

Kypass is the best integration of KeePass on iOS that Ive found in the AppStore. Recent updates allow password creation similar to the desktop version. And storing on Dropbox is extremely easy. TouchID is also great.

Bought this specifically because it claims to have iCloud support. It has Dropbox, iCloud is nowhere to be found. I opened a support request with the developer and got no response. I will change my rating if I get support and it turns out I am wrong, but so far I haven’t heard anything.
